Thanksgiving Weekend

We're having a great Thanksgiving week. The weather has been great, around 60 degrees and lots of sunshine. It's allowed us to show Dad and Kathy the Morton Arboretum, go ice skating downtown and look at the Christmas windows in Macy's on State Street.

Later, we went to the Christmas tree lighting in downtown Glen Ellyn. What a difference a year makes. Last year with Mom in town we had a couple inches of snow on the ground for the Christmas tree lighting and it was really cold. This year, we barely needed jackets. The mild weather brought out a big crowd, as you can see.
